Team Goemkarponn PONDA: An unidentified man, aged around 50 years, was brought dead to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Ponda on Wednesday night. According to Ponda Police, the medical officer at SDH informed them at around 9.56 pm on October 1 that a male patient had been brought dead by a 108 ambulance from Dada Vaidya Chowk, Ponda. The deceased’s identity and residential details are yet to be established. Police said the body has been preserved at SGDH, Margao, for medico-legal examination and further formalities. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Krishna Gawas of Ponda Police Station.
