PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today has expressed confidence that BJP-backed panels will win the Sankhali and Ponda Municipal Polls.
“I am confident that BJP-backed panels will win the Sankhali and Ponda Municipal Polls. BJP-backed candidates have received an enormous response,” said Sawant.
He further said voting is expected to cross the 80 per cent mark at both Sankhali and Ponda.
“From the review I have taken, it is clear that BJP-backed panels will win the elections,” he added.
Sawant said that he has confidence that all BJP-backed candidates will win the elections, especially in Sankhali.
“BJP karyakartas have reached out to voters at ground zero under various outreach programs. BJP will win Ponda & Sankhali Municipal Elections with a thumping majority,” Sawant claimed.
Sankhali Municipality is presently controlled by the Congress-backed Dharmesh Saglani panel.
