PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Vice President Sunil Kawthankar said that BJP Goa Government now joins the elite club of Mughals & Portuguese for demolition of Hindu Temples.

He further said that this shocking and shameful incident of cutting 200 years old Banyan tree and demolishing the adjoining temple has exposed double standards of BJPs duplicate love for Hindus.
“Also all BJP affiliated organizations such as RSS, Bajrang Dal stands exposed with their silence over this demolition and desecration of idol and Temple of Rakhandar Dev Khapreshwar,” he added
Kawthankar also said that this is to help open up frontage of Commercial building when the alignment of flyover is conveniently planned to save a shopping mall just 400 mts ahead.
“Earlier BJP targeted other religions now they are targeting hindus itself for selfish gains proving the proverb “baap bada na bhayya Sabse bada rupayya”
