PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that BJP will cross 22 seats in the upcoming Goa Assembly election scheduled for February 14.
“I am sure that BJP will get 22 plus seats in the upcoming assembly elections in February 14. I am 100 percent sure that people will give us the fruit for the development we have done in last 10 years,” said CM Sawant addressing the media
He further also took a dig at TMC and AAP stating that they will come and go but will not affect the BJP in Goa in any way.
“I request and urge the people of Goa to once again give us the opportunity to serve them in the coming years,” said CM
CM Sawant further said that the BJP will launch its Manifesto on January 20,2022 in which views have been taken from all sections of the society.
“Candidates will be declared only after approval from the parliamentary board,” he said
CM also said that he welcomes the decision taken by the Election Commission to declare the elections keeping in mind the covid situation in India.
“BJP will come to power in Goa with full majority again. All guidelines by the EC will be followed,” Sawant said
Speaking on jobs, Sawant claimed that there is status quo on government jobs recruitment process since Model Code of Conduct has come into session.
