PALOLEM: Andrew William Wyatt, 57, a British national, was discovered dead in a room at a Palolem resort by the Canacona Police.
According to the results of the Canacona police investigation, the deceased had been living alone in a resort room for the previous month and was a diabetic and heavy drinker.
The British national was discovered laying on the bed and not reacting when the landlord went to check the room on December 24 at around 7 p.m., according to police.
As a result, the British national was transported in an ambulance to Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC), where the attending physician pronounced him deceased.
The body has been kept in the morgue of the Hospicio South Goa District Hospital for medical-legal formalities after police performed panchanama.
According to the police, they will report the event to the deceased’s family and the British Embassy. PSI Babu Dessai is conducting additional research.
