PANAJI: The Central and State Governments have initiated the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav as was done last year.
As part of the initiative, the public is encouraged to hoist the National flag in their homes from August 13 to 15, 2023. The idea has been conceived to invoke the feeling of Patriotism amongst the General Public and also to involve them in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.
The Ministry of Culture, Government of India has informed that the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM) has embarked upon an initiative titled- “Har Ghar Tiranga”.
This Campaign witnessed immense success wherein 23 crore households hoisted the Tiranga in their homes physically and 6 crore people uploaded Selfies on the Har Ghar Tiranga website last year.
The public is encouraged to put Selfie with Tiranga on the website www.harghartiranga.com. The motto of this campaign is to reach every village and every household in the state.
