VASCO: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Art and Culture minister Govind Gaude have taken cognisance of the non-functioning of air-conditioning plant at Ravindra Bhavan Baina (RBB).
RBB chairman says soon the issue will be sorted out.
Reacting to the news reports which appeared in Goemkarponn, Jayant Jadhav, chairman of Ravindra Bhavan Baina has stated that the file related to the Ravindra Bhavan Baina Air conditioning plant has been put up with the executive engineer PWD (Margao) for consideration.
The same issue has been brought to the notice of Art and Culture minister Govind Gaude and this was discussed during the review meeting at Ravindra Bhavan recently.
Jadhav further said that except the main auditorium at the Ravindra Bhavan, other places such as mini hall, conference room and administrative office are functioning at Ravindra Bhavan Baina. The matter of a non-functioning AC plant has also been brought up before Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant who has assured to resolve the issue soon.
Jadhav said that the Music classes are functioning, the Ravindra Bhavan Baina has also catered to the people as a Covid vaccination centre and other such programs. Furthermore the same premise is being used by the Mamlatdar and Deputy Collector as their offices tentatively.
“Therefore I urge locals to bear this brunt for a short time as the Air Conditioning plant will get functional soon,” he said.
