PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar today demanded that the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should sack Urban Development Minister Milind Naik for errors in Municipality ward reservation.
Addressing the media, Chodankar said to that CM Sawant should take responsibility for the municipality mess he has created.
“CM should sack Urban Development Minister Milind Naik for the grave errors in Municipality ward and delimitation process as he himself had blamed the DMA for the errors,” said Chodankar
Chodankar term CM Sawant as a defective CM which has been proved by the High Court and Supreme Court orders.
Chodankar also warned Goa government officers against following unconstitutional directives made by ruling politicians, while accusing a high ranking party functionary in the BJP of calling the shots as “super CM” of the state.
“After the Supreme Court order, CM is making officers scapegoats. We are warning all government officers. They are not servants of the CM or the ‘super CM’, but of the Constitution,” Chodankar said.
