Further, BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said that BJP will contest all 40 seats in Goa.
“Previously, we used to leave certain seats, but we will contest across 40 constituencies in Goa this time,” he added.
The BJP has been holding meetings with its core committee to finalise the names of the candidates. The BJP is currently ruling Goa with 23 MLAs by its side as four legislators – Michael Lobo, Alina Saldanha, Carlos Almeida and Pravin Zantye – resigned from the party and the House in the past few days.
