PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee will launch its program named as “Connecting Nizaache Congressman” from 15th April 2021, in a view to honor contribution of loyal congressmen.
The GPCC president Girish Chodankar on Friday addressed press conference in Congress House Panaji after holding review meeting of GPCC office bearers and informed about the program. GPCC vice chairman M K Sheikh, chairman of Coordination committee Adv. Ramakant Khalap, M. K. Sheikh, Gurudas Natekar, Altinho Gomes, Vijay Bhike were present on the occasion.
Chodankar said that these “Niz Congressman”, are assets and energy of Congress party and hence party leaders will go and meet them. ” we will visit all constituencies and spend the time with our loyal Congress, who have feeling that they are neglected by party, and take suggestions from them to grow the Congress party.” Chodankar said.
“We want to reconnect them with Congress party and also honor them” he said.
He said that there are many loyal Congressmen, Sympathisers, Wellwishers, traditional voters in Goa, who have always voted to Congress and strengthen party in the past and have feeling that only this party can give justice to people.
Chodankar said that party leaders will spend whole day in each constituency.
Meanwhile, Congress leaders on Friday held meetings with PCC office bearers and block presidents to discuss various issues.
“We have decided to promote the membership drive.” He said.
He said that booth committees will be reconstituted, which will help to face assembly elections.
