PANAJI: Amidst rising cases of COVID-19 in the state, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has permitted students
of class IX and Class XI to answer their final examination from their residence in written format;
CM Pramod Sawant on Thursday had asked education dept to change guidelines for conduct of exams in view of prevailing situation.
“In partial modification to the above cited circular, it is now informed that the examination of Std. IX and XI should be conducted by allowing students to answer from their residence, in the same manner as for std. upto VIII; this circular is applicable for the examination which are yet pending,” the circular states
(GBSHSE) has announced that the 2020-21 Board exams of Class XII and Class X will be held as per schedule, for now.
As per the dates announced by GBSHSE, the Board exams for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) will be held from April 24 to May 17, while the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will be between May 19 and June 2.
