VASCO:
Folling the spike in COVID19 cases, the Airport Authority of India has declared fresh SOPs but there is no introduction of mandatory COVID testing yet.
The new protocols of Health Screening Protocol/SOP currently (as on 14.04.2021) being followed by Goa State Govt. for Arrival passengers at Goa Airport:
Domestic Passengers:
Thermal Screening upon arrival. Covid report not required. No Quarantine.
International Passengers:
All International Arriving Passengers carrying 72 hrs prior RT-PCR negative certificate are required to proceed for 14 days of Home Quarantine.
Passengers not carrying RT-PCR negative certificate have to mandatorily undergo Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival at Goa Airport, the AAI said.
It further says that if If the test result comes negative, he/she has to proceed for 14 days of Home Quarantine.
“If the test result is positive, he/she shall be sent for Covid Care Centre/ Home Isolation as per State Govt. guidelines,” the AAI says.
The airport authority also said that the passengers with travel history to UK 14 days prior to arrival have to mandatorily undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival.
“If test report is negative, passenger has to proceed for 14 days of Home Quarantine. If test report is positive, then passenger shall be sent for Covid Care Centre/ Home Isolation as per State Govt. guidelines. Please note the Health Screening protocol may change from time to time. Passengers may confirm with concerned Airlines near to travelling dates,” it says.
