Cyber Cell registered FIR 19/2020 on complainant of victim that one person by fictitious name Steve Jose befriended the victim on Facebook and promised to send the victim a gift from abroad.
Thereafter on the pretext of custom clearance had cheated the victim of ₹5.16 lakhs which was deposited in fictitious accounts used by fraudsters.
Investigation was carried out and in coordination with Delhi Police, Crime Branch team led by PI Filomena Costa and PSI Nitin Halankar identified one Nigerian National Onuorah Donatus Jideoffor aged 28 years, currently residing in Mohan Garden, Delhi.
