DABOLIM: Airport officials said Dabolim is monitoring developments but has not received any specific directive requiring additional restrictions or enhanced measures.
According to airport management, established procedures require formal guidance from international and Indian health authorities before new measures are introduced.
The airport already has systems that can be used for passenger health screening, including infrastructure developed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Officials said the existing facilities can be activated whenever necessary and that passengers showing symptoms can be assessed as part of the airport’s routine health-response mechanism.
The airport is also prepared to implement any instructions issued by the Government of India.
