PANAJI: Opportunist Power Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar should either show guts and advise corrupt BJP Government’s Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to stop spending crores on events and use funds to buy electrical Insulators and Conductors to solve frequent Power Interruptions and give relief to Goans or Resign, demanded Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar.
Reacting sharply to the statement made by Power Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar claiming that it is because of the faulty age-old Insulators and Conductors which are causing frequent power interruptions in Goa, Amarnath Panjikar demanded that Power Department must come up with a White Paper on the crores of rupees spent in last 10 years of BJP rule.
Few days back when a Cow was electrocuted at Porvorim due to complete negligence of Electricity Department, Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar had given a weird explanation of “Electric Magnetic Field” to cover up his departments Sin of killing Gomata. As per his logic, Government must give Gum Boots to the Animals to prevent them from getting Electrocuted in rainy season when the water gets accumulated and the electric wires are left exposed by the Electricity Department, stated Amarnath Panjikar.
The BJP Government has spent almost 500 crores on Events and Publicity in last ten years after coming to power in 2012. Power Minister enjoyed the power with the corrupt, insensitive, irresponsible BJP Government most of the time in last 10 years. He is now shedding crocodile tears to hide his incompetency, stated Amarnath Panjikar.
I demand that Power Minister must explain to the people why the BJP Government failed to replace the Insulators and Conductors in last ten years? Why the BJP Government failed to expand Underground Cabling across Goa? Why the BJP Government failed to generate Renewable Energy? questioned Amarnath Panjikar.
Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has no right to continue in power. He has miserably failed to take preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the households in Goa. He once opposed the Three Linear Projects when he was dreaming of sharing power with Congress from 2022. Now he has turned his Coat to sing praises for the destructive project, Amarnath Panjikar said.
