QUEPEM: A 57-year-old man, Diogo Fernandes from Fatorpa, tragically died on Thursday following an accidental fall while working at a temple in Fatorpa.
Fernandes was reportedly working at the temple when he fell from a height, sustaining severe injuries. He was initially rushed to South Goa District Hospital (SGDH) in Margao for medical attention. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to Goa Medical College (GMC) in Bambolim, where he was declared dead on arrival at the casualty ward.
The incident is being investigated by local authorities to determine the exact cause of the fall.
