UCASSAIM: Five persons have been accused of criminal trespass, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation following a complaint lodged by Shekhar Shashikant Shetgaonkar, a resident of Punola, Ucassaim, Bardez, Goa.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on October 29, 2026, at TNK, Punola, Ucassaim, Bardez, where the accused persons allegedly trespassed into the residential premises of the complainant.
The accused have been identified as Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Pratiba Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Vedhant Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Sarita Govekar and Anil Govekar, who are stated to be family members and relatives of the complainant.
The complainant alleged that due to an ongoing property dispute and personal issues, the accused, acting with common intention, unlawfully entered his residence, wrongfully restrained him and his family members, preventing them from moving freely. They also allegedly threatened the complainant and his family members with dire consequences.
The complaint was lodged on October 31, 2026, at 3.10 pm.
Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Ravina Sawtodkar.
