MARGAO: A motorcycle rider sustained a fracture injury to his left leg after an SUV allegedly rammed into his two-wheeler at Comba, Margao, on October 27, 2026, at around 6.15 pm.
According to the complaint lodged by ASI Santosh Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station, the accused, identified as Aakash Raney, a resident of Baina, Vasco, was driving a four-wheeler in a rash and negligent manner, endangering human life.
The incident occurred near Shivneri Building, Comba, when the accused allegedly took a right turn towards Khareband and dashed against an oncoming Java motorcycle.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle rider, identified as Bridion Fernandes, a resident of Nagmoddem, Navelim, sustained a fracture injury to his left leg.
Further investigation is being conducted by ASI Santosh Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station.
