PANJIM: Former BJP South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar today tested positive for COVID19.
“Today I underwent Covid-19 test & it has turned out assymptomatically positive. My vitals are within normal limits. I have admitted myself in #SubDistrict Hospital, #Ponda.” tweeted Sawaikar
Sawaikar has also requested those who have came in contact him in last 4 days to get tested & take precautions.
BJP MLA Nilkanth Halarnkar, former Deputy Chief Minister Sudin Dhavalikar had also tested positive. Another BJP MLA, Clafasio Dias, who was the first MLA to test positive for Covid-19 last month, was hospitalised for more than two weeks.
Also, Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik is currently admitted to a private hospit
