CANACONA: Four months after elections are held to appoint the managing committee of a educational society (ES) of Canacona, Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Gon.Secretary files a police complaint for forging his signature on an alleged NOC letter to contest election of the ES’s managing committee.
According to Canacona police GCA Secretary Rohan Gauns Dessai, complained that on 27.05.2024 at around 05.00 pm at Centro Promoter De Instrucao (CPI) (Mallikarjun Vidyalaya High School, Canacona an accused person Achiket Desai, detail address not known, allegedly prepared NOC letter and forged signature of the complainant on the said letter without authorization and thereafter produced said forged NOC letter as genuine one before the CPI for the purpose of contesting election of the school, and thereby cheated the above school authority.
The election of CPI Management committee and General Assembly was held on 09.06.2024.
According to reports Achiket Desai is a former employee of GCA.
Canacona PS registered an FIR under Cr No.71/2024 and booked the accused Achiket Desai u/s 465, 468, 471, 420 IPC. Further, investigation is carried out by PSI Rajasekhar Reddy, Canacona P.S dunder the supervision of Canacona PI.
