PANAJI:The High Court has directed the South Goa Superintendent of Police and the Bogda Vasco Police Inspector to provide adequate police personnel to the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) on Wednesday morning to secure the land where the illegal shed, popularly known as ‘Murgao Cha Raja’, was demolished.
The police deployment will facilitate fencing of the area to prevent any further unauthorised occupation or activity.
The matter has been listed for Thursday to review compliance with the court’s directions.
