BENAULIM: After being discovered unresponsive in a guest house in Benaulim, Goran Ragnar Tranberg, a 68-year-old German national, was pronounced dead.
Joachim Burkhard Weber, the deceased’s friend, disclosed to Colva police during their investigation that Goran was sleeping alone at the guest house and had been ill since Saturday.
Additionally, it was mentioned that he had previously experienced a stroke.
Goran sent his friend a WhatsApp message on Sunday morning, stating that he wasn’t feeling well. When the buddy arrived at the guest house at 8:45 a.m., he saw Goran unconscious on the bed.
He was sent in a 108 ambulance right away to District Hospital, Margao, where medical professionals pronounced him dead.
The investigation also found that Goran had experienced several strokes in the previous few years. No foul play is suspected by the police.
The body has been kept for observation and other medico-legal processes at the District Hospital in Margao.
