RIBANDAR: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has requested Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal to go for research-oriented integration with Goa Medical College (GMC) & other hospitals in the state.
Sawant was speaking after the inauguration of AYUSH health services at Ribandar.
“I request Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal to go for research-oriented integration with Goa Medical College (GMC) & other hospitals in the state,” said Sawant.
He further said urged people to visit AYUSH Health Services at Ribandar to treat any chronic disease if they person has got any results with Allopathic treatment
“This AYUSH Health Services at Ribandar will be free of cost for people. The centre is equipped with facilities, and people should at least visit this centre once,” he added
The facility aims to provide high-quality and affordable healthcare services to every region of Goa through the traditional systems of Ayush medicine. It is equipped with an outpatient department (OPD), a dispensary, and a Panchakarma centre, which will be available to the general public.
The establishment of this facility represents the Ministry’s vision of expanding healthcare infrastructure and human resources in the Ayush sector.
It aims to foster effective collaborations with reputed organisations sharing similar objectives to promote research in traditional medical systems. The facility will also work towards integrating Ayush services with modern medicine and encouraging innovation.
