CANACONA: Congress in Canacona have launched ’Ek Pavl Tumchea Gavan Tumchea Khatir’ to bring awareness about the government schemes to knowledge of common people .
Canacona congress parivar jointly held the ‘Schemes Awareness program’ at Loliem on Sunday, and are organizing such program ‘Ek Pavl Tumchea Gavan Tumche Khatir’ in each of the areas.
At Loliem the schemes related to senior citizens, disabled person, widows, single women, married women, and Orphan children and also pertaining to houses repairs amongst various others were explained.
All the existing schemes related to the above were read and explained in details and also the documentation needed for every scheme was properly informed. Some of congress youth helped the people to fill in the forms related to the schemes and collected the documents required to avail the schemes’, informed District(South) Congress Committee General Secretary Gaspar Coutinho.
Mrs. Ursila Costa (Congress Canacona Block Mahilla President), a resident of Loliem Agaass assited at the Congress Work Desk to help the people to avail the forms for all the schemes.she has volunteered to follow up with the documents and offered help to the people from Loliem Agaas when needed.
Canacona Congress Block President Abel Borges informed such programs would be held all over the constituency and people particularly kept at a distance by the ruling party would be provided all the assistance and help to avail the schemes.
Recently appointed Canacona Block Youth Congress president Manesh Dessai, Youth Congress State Vice president Vaishnav Pednekar, Youth leader Cleston Viegas, also took leads in interacting with needy people and extended help to aply for the schemes presently in force.
