PANAJI: The Goa government has cleared a proposal for sponsorship towards the 4th World Ocean Science Congress, with POSCO set to provide sponsorship for the event, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
The decision was taken as part of the government’s recent approvals, with the Chief Minister stating that the sponsorship proposal for the international ocean science event has been cleared.
In another decision, the government has approved the allocation of 4,401 square metres of land to the Department of Archaeology for departmental use.
The land allocation is expected to support the department’s administrative and operational requirements.
