Panaji: Goa Governor has fulfilled his promise of financial assistance to need from his funds.
The day P.S. Sreedharan Pillai took over as Governor of Goa he had decided to help the needy deprived and underprivileged section of the society to reach out to the people of Goa.
Governor of Goa, P.S. Sreedharan PiIlai, made an announcement of various schemes and disbursed financial assistance total 2.75 crores from his Excellency’s funds to 1005 dialysis/cancer/other patients.
Governor will hand over the requisite amount to authorities for total 96.00 lakh as financial assistance from His Excellency’s funds to 384 patients i.e 100 dialysis patients and 284 cancer patients.
