PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the Goa government is on a mission to create a thriving, competitive workforce for the developing industrial landscape in the state and build a stronger skill ecosystem guiding our youth toward success.

He further said that the Government-run Employment Exchange has been revitalized and transformed into cutting-edge Model Career Centres (MCC).
“The Model Career Centre in Goa equipped with advanced facilities like Training Halls, IT Labs, Counselling Rooms, Help Desks, and Kiosks serves as a hub of skilled potential bridging the gap between industry needs and aspiring talents,” he added.
Sawant said Goa State ranks highest in the country in terms of literacy and now the goal is to improve the quality of education by absorbing the new changes through the NEP-2020 where all attempts are made for its successful implementation.
The Chief Minister informed that for the first time the government has relaxed the necessary recruitment rules to absorb 62 home Guards into the regular police service. Government would soon launch the “Har Ghar Fibre” scheme providing internet access to every household, he added.
He reiterated the Government’s commitment to empower women. Let us work together to achieve our dream to make India developed by 2047, he concluded.
