CANACONA: Government accords expenditure sanctions for an Underground Cabling of 11KV Electricity alignment of Agonda and Khola Village areas of Canacona taluka.
Chief Electrical Engineer (department of Electricity) issued an Expenditure Sanction for conversion of 11KV HT network to 11 KV HT UG network in Agonda and Khola Villages Panchayats in Canacona and part of Quepem Constituencies amounting to Rs. 66,10,96395 cr, recently ( 5th Oct).
This is a long awaited proposal for converting of overhead 11 KV alignment to UG cabling of this high tension 11KV to cable in both Agonda and Khola Villages of Canacona taluka.Panchcyat’s in.
A proposal to convert the existing 33 KV overhead alignment to underground cabling to the twin villages of Agonda and Khola is pending with the government, sources informed.
According to sources in the Speakers Office, an work order for these works to a nn approximates costs of 150 Cr is likely to be placed by Electricity department shorlty.
