PANAJI: The Directorate of Agriculture is in the process of formulating Agriculture Policy for the State of Goa. The department will conduct meetings in every taluka of the State to get feedback/suggestions from farmers, farmers groups, farmer’s societies, elected representatives and the general public for the formation of Agriculture Policy for the State of Goa.
In Dharbandora Taluka the meeting will be held on October 17, 2023 at 10.00 am at Zonal Agriculture Office Dharbandora; Mormugao Taluka on October 18, 2023 at 11.00 am in the premises of Zonal Agriculture Office Mormugao; Valpoi Tauka on October 19, 2023 at 2.30 pm in the office of Zonal Agriculture Officer at Valpoi; Ponda taluka on October 19, 2023 at 10.00 am in the premises of Ponda Market Yard at Block ‘D’; Canacona taluka on October 19, 2023 at 10:30 am at the Mamlatdar Conference Hall, Govt. Complex Bldg, Chaudi Canacona; Bicholim taluka meeting will be held on October 20, 2023 at 10.30 am in the Conference Hall of Zonal Agriculture Office Bicholim; Tiswadi on October 20, 2023 at 2.30 pm in the Azossim Mandur Panchayat Hall and Bardez (Mapusa) Taluka on October 20, 2023 at 3.00 pm in the Conference hall of Zonal Agriculture Office Mapusa.
Similarly in Quepem taluka the meeting will be held on October 26, 2023 at 10:00 am at Municipality hall, Quepem and Sanguem the meeting is arranged on October 26, 2023 at 10:00 am at Municipality Hall Sanguem.
Further, in Salcete taluka the meeting will be held on October 27, 2023 at 10.00 am at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (South), Margao-Goa and in Pernem taluka the meeting will be held on October 30, 2023 at 10.00 am at Zonal Agriculture Office Pernem.
All the concerned are requested to attend the meeting and give their suggestions/ inputs for incorporating in the Agriculture policy for the State of Goa.
