PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Goa has upheld communal harmony since Liberation.
“Goa is renowned for its unity and communal harmony, and my government is dedicated to preserving it,” he said, adding that it was important to continue to live harmoniously.
According to Sawant, the authorities worked together to successfully set up the necessary infrastructure for the exposition in Old Goa, and he promised complete government support through the event’s conclusion.
In Goa, people coexist peacefully. This feature is further supported by the government’s planning for the Exposition. Additionally, it sends a message to Indians who needlessly become involved in intercommunal disputes, Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai remarked.
