PORVORIM: Minister Nilesh Cabral today said that the Law Department had moved a proposal for filling up 05 posts of Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar to the Goa Public Service Commission.
“Law Department had moved a proposal for filling up 05 posts of Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar to Goa Public Service Commission,” said Cabral.
He further said that the Commission recommended 04 names for filling up the posts of Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar. Further, only 03 candidates have given their acceptance.
“The antecedents and medical were received on 19/07/2023. The file has been moved for issuing the Order for appointment of the Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar,” he added.
Cabral said that the Government will post one Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar in the office of Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar, Salcete, immediately.
“In the meantime, the two Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar who are posted in Salcete have cleared most of the backlog and whatever is pending shall be cleared within the next 3-4 working days thereby ensuring that there is no inconvenience caused to the citizens,” he added.
