MARGAO: SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora, will participate in the ‘Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath’ programme, focusing on sports, fitness, youth participation and youth-led nation building, on August 27 at 10 am at the college premises.
The programme is being organised under the Khelo India Samvaad initiative and will provide students and young people an opportunity to engage with issues related to sports, fitness and their role in nation building.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shaikh Mohammad Parvez Al-Usmani, along with other officials, addressed a press conference and appealed to students to participate actively in the programme.
Prof. Usmani said the college was proud to be associated with Khelo India Samvaad and valued the opportunity for its students to participate in an important national programme.
He said the initiative would help promote sports development while encouraging discipline, teamwork, confidence and a healthy lifestyle among young people.
Samyek Meshram, Assistant Director, MY Bharat Goa State, said the programme was being organised under ‘Khelo India Samvaad – Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath’ with the objective of encouraging greater youth participation in sports and fitness-related activities.
Paricshit Phal Desai and Milan Gaonkar were also present at the press conference.
