ANJUNA: Anjuna Police has arrested one Guineese national along with drugs in a narcotics raid.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on the intervening night of 14/11/2023 and 15/11/2023 at internal road near XOXO, bar & restaurant, Anjuna, Bardez Goa upon specific and reliable information a narcotic raid was conducted wherein accused person namely Malam Camara s/o Pasca, age-36 years, r/o Near Artjuna, Anjuna, Bardez Goa, n/o Catio, Guineese national was found in illegal possession of 01.74 grams of psychotropic drug suspected to be ‘Cocaine’ and 03.12 grams psychotropic drug suspected to be ‘Heroine’ altogether having value of Rs . 2,10,000/- apprx .
The said illegal suspected drugs along with other exhibits has been seized under the search Panchanama , after following all mandatory provisions of NDPS Act 1985.
Accused person is placed under arrest in above crime and presently in police custody.
Further investigation is in progress with LPSI Sneha Sawal under supervision of PI Anjuna Prashal Naik Dessai and SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi and SP North Nidhin Valsan IPS.
