PANAJI: Mapusa police have arrested one person during a Narcotics raid at the parking lot, Near St. Jerome Church, Mapusa with Ganja.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 15.10.2023 based on reliable information team of Mapusa Police Station led by PSI Dineshkumar Mukhiya along with PSI Yashwant MandrekarPSI Viraj Korgaonkar HC Sushant Chopdekar, PC Akshay Patil, Anand Rathod, Aniket Kalangutkar conducted a narcotic raid at Parking lot, Near St. Jerome Church, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa and arrested one Mr. Govind Suresh Jadhav, aged 26 years R/o Gaunswado, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa who was found in illegal possession of narcotic drug i.eGanja weighing 500 grams which he had brought to deliver to his prospective customer.
A narcotic Substance i.e. Ganja has been seized from the custody of the accused Govind Jadhav.
An FIR U/Sec 20 (b) (ii)(A) of the NDPS Act was registered at Mapusa Police Station and the accused Govind Jadhav is arrested and presently in Police Custody.
The raid was conducted under the overall supervision of SP North Shri Nidhin Valsan, IPS and SDPO, Mapusa Jivba Dalvi and PI Shitakant Nayak. Further, an Investigation is in progress with PSI Bablo Parab
