MAPUSA: Anjuna Police has arrested a Odisha native for being in illegal possession of Ganja.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on Satruday at Sonarkhed Assagao, one person native of Odisha namely Mr. Rinu Lima s/o Ramesh Lima, age 27 yrs, r/o Suluba, Gajapati, Odisha was caught red handed while he came to deliver narcotic drug “Ganja” to his prospective customers.
In this connection Anjuna Police registered NDPS (Drugs)case against above named accused person for illegal possession of Narcotic drug ” Ganja” W/Rs. 6,00,000/- appx. which was seized at the instance of accused person. The accused person is placed under arrest for further investigation.
A police team led by PSI Sahil V. Warang, Police Constables Mahendra Mandrekar, Adarsh Nagekar, Mayur Ghadi, Rupesh Azgaonkar, Shanu Raut all of Anjuna Police Station developed the information, leading to the arrest of interstate drug peddler under the overall supervision of Prashal P.N. Dessai, PI Anjuna PS, Jivba Dalvi SDPO Mapusa and Nidhin Valsan, SP (North), Porvorim.
