PANAJI: The Goa Police Headquarters has ordered the transfer and posting of 21 police personnel, including Police Inspectors and other officers, following recommendations of the Police Establishment Board.
The transfers have been made with immediate effect in public interest.
According to the order issued by Superintendent of Police (HQ) Tushar N. Vernekar, several officers from Porvorim, Colvale, Anjuna, Calangute and Mopa Airport Police Stations have been shifted to various Traffic Cells (TC) in Panaji, while others have been posted to SPCR Panaji and PCR Margao.
Officers Terence Vaz and Sushant N. Gawas, who were awaiting posting, have been assigned to SPCR Panaji, while Pushpalata P. Borkar has been moved from the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), Margao, to PCR Margao.
The reshuffle also includes transfers of personnel from Mopa Airport Police Station, Porvorim Police Station, Colvale Police Station and Anjuna Police Station, reflecting a wider reorganisation of manpower across operational and traffic units in the state. The order takes immediate effect.
