PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Goa is all set to contribute to the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in India’s journey towards it.
“I congratulate Union Cabinet under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi for approving the modification in the PLI Scheme for Semiconductor and Display Manufacturing in India. It is a welcome step towards making India a global hub for Semiconductor manufacturing,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that Goa is all set to contribute to the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in India’s journey towards it.
“The World is curiously watching India. India’s growth story shall take a leap with Sustainable Design and Eco-Technologies for Infrastructure, as the theme of the conference suggests,” he added.

Meanwhile, Sawant said that the government of Goa is always ready to provide all the necessary facilities and support for natural farming in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the electronic city cluster in 2016, and is spread over an area of 5.90 sq mts.
The Chief Minister had also said that nearly 30 investors had expressed willingness to invest capital in electronics manufacturing centres at the cluster.
“I am sure that this project will contribute in a big way towards creating jobs for the Goan youth and also for self-employment opportunities for the youth in Goa,” he had said.
