PANAJI: India Meteorological Department (IMD), Goa, has predicted light rain in a few isolated locations over the state on April 6.
Known as pre-monsoon rainfall, these showers are a welcome break from the state’s ongoing dry spell.
The IMD stated that although conditions are predicted to stay dry from March 31 to April 5 and that the maximum temperature will not significantly change over the next three days, there may be haze in certain areas in the early hours of April 1.
Panaji recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 25.9 degrees Celsius on the final day of March, while IMD recorded the highest maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius in Mormugao.
