PANAJI: In November, gross GST collections increased 8.5% to more than Rs 1.82 lakh crore due to increased domestic transaction revenues.
According to government data provided on Sunday, the Central GST collection was Rs 34,141 crore, the State GST was Rs 43,047 crore, the Integrated IGST was Rs 91,828 crore, and the cess was Rs 13,253 crore.
Goa: November 2024 witnessed 11% surge in GST revenue, as state figures stood at Rs 560 crore as against the preceding year’s Rs 503 crore.
According to the report, the gross revenue from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) increased by 8.5% to over Rs 1.82 lakh crore in November from Rs 1.68 lakh crore in the same month the previous year.
The second-best GST mop-up in October was Rs 1.87 lakh crore, with an annual rise of 9%. Over Rs 2.10 lakh crore was collected in April 2024, the biggest amount ever.
GST from domestic transactions increased 9.4% to Rs 1.40 lakh crore during the reviewed month, while import tax receipts increased roughly 6% to Rs 42,591 crore.
During the month, refunds totaling Rs 19,259 crore were given out, representing an 8.9% decrease from the same period last year.
Net GST collection rose by 11% to Rs 1.63 lakh crore after refund adjustments.
