Panaji: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Goa is emerging as a global hub for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence, with the state’s education initiatives now gaining international recognition.
The state government’s focus on future-ready education and technology-driven learning has begun yielding global outcomes, positioning Goa as a model for innovation-led education systems.
A major milestone in this journey is the international recognition earned by Qurious Mind Infotainment Pvt. Ltd., a Goa-based startup actively involved in advancing robotics and AI education across the state. The organisation has been instrumental in nurturing future-ready talent through hands-on learning, enabling students to excel in national and international competitions.
The company has now secured key endorsements from the Government of Zimbabwe, marking a significant step in taking India’s innovation ecosystem to the global stage.
These include Cabinet clearance from the Zimbabwe government to conduct National Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, official certification and recommendation of its robotics kits by Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and its appointment as a Development Partner under Zimbabwe’s National Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Technologies Framework.
Officials said these developments underscore the effectiveness of Goa’s governance model in fostering innovation and enabling local enterprises to achieve global impact. The state’s emphasis on 21st-century skills and technological competencies is seen as a benchmark for emerging economies seeking to modernise their education systems.
Further strengthening this global engagement, a delegation from Zimbabwe comprising educationists and development experts is currently visiting Goa. The visit aims to explore collaboration in STEM education and reflects growing international interest in Goa’s progressive educational initiatives.
Authorities said such partnerships are expected to enhance knowledge exchange, promote innovation, and expand opportunities for students and institutions in both regions.
