BAMBOLIM: The Goa University conducted the Inter Collegiate Judo Championship 2022-23 for Men from 20th to 21st September 2022 at the Jubilee Hall, Goa University. Over 88 athletes from various affiliated colleges participated in 8 different weight categories.
Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola were the overall champions and P.E.S’s R.S.N College of Arts and Science, Farmagudi and V. M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar were awarded the joint runner’s up trophy.
The Chief guest of the championship Dr. Francis Lobo, College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Rosary College, Navelim and Guest of Honour Mr. Mir Dias, Judo Coach, Sports Authority of Goa graced the occasion and presented the medals and trophies to the winners.
