PANAJI: Shree Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona won the Men’s title and Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem and Women Cross Country Championship 2024-25, organized by Goa University at Goa University Campus, Taliegao on 17th August 2024.
In Men’s Section, Shree Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona finished with 28 points to claim the winner’s position. Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem was awarded the second position with 39 points. The third position winner was MES’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar with 70 points.
In the Women’s Section, Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem was awarded the first position by finishing with 18 points, followed by Shree Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona, and Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim won Second and Third positions respectively.
The event involved a 10 Km run, which was flagged off by Dr Rajan Mathew, College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Govt. College, Quepem
Chief Guest for the presentation ceremony Dr. Savio Leitao, along with Mr. Balachandra B. Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University graced the occasion and presented trophies and medals to the winners.

2nd: Suraj Yadav (34:24.00), Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem;

1st: Ayan Soares (43:46.00), Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim;
