CANACONA: Women in Canacona can now avail gynecology services at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Chaudi, with a new gynecologist posted to the facility.
According to CHC sources, the gynecologist will be available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, attending to patients with women’s health issues.
Sources further informed that the newly posted doctor is among the best in the field and urged local women to take advantage of the specialist services now available at the CHC.
It may be recalled that residents and local leaders had long demanded the posting of specialist doctors at the Canacona CHC, which has been facing a shortage of such experts despite repeated requests to the government.
