Months after the government scrapped the Housing Building Advance (HBA) Scheme offered to its employees, the Goa Forward party (GFP) today alleged that the monthly installment deducted towards the scheme has not been deposited in the banks for the last three months.
In a press conference held today, GFP vice president Durgadas Kamat charged that the government is using HBA installment to clear their pending dues.
He said that the installment towards HBA has been deducted from the salaries of the government servants but has not been deposited in the bank for the last three months.
“The beneficiaries of HBA can cross check this from the banks,” Kamat said.
“We want to know where the money has gone? Is it a new scam in making?” he questioned.
