VASCO: Inspector General of police Omvir Singh Bishnoi urged the people of Goa to be alert and safe from the cyber crimes which have increased recently.
IGP Bishnoi said that many Cyber thugs are dupping people. He further urged locals and youths not to disclose any confidential details such as pin codes, passwords, documents etc., to suspicious sites online.
He further added that the online games and mobile batting games are dangerous, and most of these games are operated in China and Pakistan, and the country’s revenue goes to these countries through these batting games.
Earlier, IGP Bishnoi inaugurated the foot pavers and iron Railing, which were placed at the Harbour coastal security police station.
Meanwhile, DYSP Sammy Tavares told reporters that to keep an eye on the fishing activities in the sea, they have asked the fisheries department to provide a boat for surveillance. We have also given one boat at the Goa Shipyard Ltd to be built for the same purpose.
Coastal security police station Harbour Police Inspector Navlesh Dessai said that before, the visitors faced problems when coming to the police station on rainy days due to slippery surfaces, and without railing it was dangerous. But now, with the help of PWD, the pavers have been installed, and the railings were put up by spending almost Rs.10 lakh 55 thousand funds for this work.
