MARGAO: South Goa Advocates Association President Adv Prasad Naik has given Representation to Law and Judiciary Minister Aleixo Sequera demanding for Implementing Advocates Protection Act in the State of Goa.
SGAA President Prasad Naik said representation is based on the Concern regarding the increasing of harassment intimidation and false Complaints faced by Advocates in Goa.
Recent Incidents including the attack on a lady Advocates Vehicle during an inspection and registration of an FIR against her based on Counter Complaint, illustrate the pressing need for immediate legal safeguard to protect Advocates in Goa.
