Indian athletes enjoyed success in events including weightlifting, boxing, wrestling, athletics, shooting, table tennis and para sports, helping the country maintain its position among the Commonwealth’s leading sporting nations. Several medal winners also achieved personal bests and Games records, highlighting the steady progress of Indian sport on the international stage.
The country’s medal tally was powered by consistent performances throughout the competition, with Indian contingents regularly reaching podium finishes across individual and team events.
