MAPUSA: Crime Branch has arrested a labourer from Morod-Mapusa for allegedly being in possesion of 4 kilograms ganja worth Rs 4 lakhs in the international market.
As per information, the accused has been identified as Shyam Chawan (22) r/o Dongri-Vasco.
Chawan was caught red handed for illegal possession of greenish colour flowering and fruiting tops of a plant suspected to be narcotic drugs Ganja weighing 4 Kilograms worth Rs.400000/- approximately in international market concealed in brownish colour bag pack and same was seized along with one blue colour Activa scooter bearing no.GA-06-AC-1671 under search and seizure panchanama.
