Lady robbed of gold and valuables worth Rs 10.60 lakh onboard train at Thivim

THIVIM: Unknown miscreants decamped with gold and valuables worth over Rs 10.60 lakh from a lady train passenger near Thivim Railway station.

One Umesh Shetty from Thane(W), Maharashtra was travelling on the Matsyagandha Express along with his aunt Vasanti Shetty.

At around 2.15 am, when the train reached near Thivim Railway Station, some unknown accused committed theft of hand bag of Vasanti Shetty containing gold ornaments weighing 130 grams, cash of Rs. 60,000, two mobiles , silver items etc all worth Rs. 10.60 lakh.
