PANAJI: A delegation of students from V.M. Salgaocar College of Law met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and BJP leader Damu Naik to raise concerns regarding promotion regulations and academic progression under Goa University.
During the meeting, the students submitted a formal representation highlighting issues they claim are affecting their academic progression. The delegation urged the authorities to review the existing academic policies and regulations governing student promotions.
The students explained their concerns and sought intervention to ensure that their academic interests are safeguarded. They requested that the relevant regulations be re-examined to address the challenges faced by students.
The interaction was facilitated by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which coordinated the meeting between the student representatives and the state leadership.
The delegation expressed optimism that their concerns would receive due consideration and that appropriate steps would be taken to address the issues raised before the authorities.
